Health vs. wealth

I'm plagiarizing this idea (from where I can't recall): We trade our health for money, then spend our money trying to regain our health. Granted, the exchange rate's more strongly slanted toward health in the USA than it is in most countries, so I won't carp that much. But the fact that money and health (rather like money and time) seem to be mutually exclusive still sucks.
